As a Compositor at connectlifevfx, you will play a crucial role in bringing our visual storytelling to life. Your expertise will help create final, polished shots that leave audiences amazed by seamlessly blending live-action footage with cutting-edge CGI elements. You will be responsible for ensuring that every frame meets the highest standards of quality, enhancing the visual narrative while maintaining the artistic integrity of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Visual Integration: Combine connect-life-vfx footage with CGI elements to create stunning and believable visual compositions that enhance the storytelling process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with directors, VFX supervisors, and other artists to understand the creative vision and ensure that all composited shots align with the project's aesthetic goals.
  • Quality Control: Review and refine shots by making adjustments to lighting, color, and visual effects to achieve a cohesive look throughout the production.
  • Creative Problem Solving :Tackle technical challenges creatively, utilizing your skills in compositing to find innovative solutions that enhance the overall production quality.
  • Asset Management: Organize and manage compositing assets efficiently, ensuring that all elements are correctly named, categorized, and accessible throughout the production process.
  • Feedback Incorporation: Actively participate in reviews and feedback sessions, using constructive criticism to improve your work and contribute to the overall success of the project.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a compositor in the visual effects (VFX) or animation industry.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your best compositing work and showcasing your ability to blend live-action and CGI elements seamlessly.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard compositing software such as Nuke, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of compositing techniques including rotoscoping, keying, tracking, and 3D integration.
  • Familiarity with multi-pass compositing and working with render layers.

Preferred Skills:




  • Familiarity with 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, or Cinema 4D) for integrating CGI elements into live-action footage.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in languages such as Python or TCL to automate processes within compositing software.
  • Understanding of real-time engines like Unreal Engine or Unity for VFX integration.
  • Experience with production tracking tools such as Shotgun or similar software for asset management.
